Services for Anthony Batiste, Jr., 67 of Pineville, LA will be 10:00 am on Saturday, October 29, 2016 (9-9:45a.m. viewing) (9:45am Rosary with 10:00 a.m.mass) at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 600 Lakeview Street, Pineville, LA. with the Rev. Dale Meade officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Heart of Mary under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home. Mr. Batiste died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his residence in Pineville, LA. Anthony is originally from Lafayette, LA. He was a former owner and operator of Lafayette Transmission Shop.
He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Batiste, Sr., mother, Veda C. Batiste, brothers, Gerard and Andrus Batiste and sister, Viola Benjamine.
Mr. Batiste is survived by his sisters, Geraldine Randle, Houston, TX; Angelina Isles, Pineville, LA; Eunise Batiste, Houston, TS; and Rose Gullette, Houston, TX.
