Carlos Jerome Allen was born on February 11, 1971 to Willie Allen and the late Myrtle Boyd Allen, Pineville, LA. God called him home for eternal rest on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his residence in Colfax, LA. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Union Baptist Church, by the late Rev. Otha Watkins. Carlos was blessing to so many people. He made a positive impact on so many lives and was willing to help anyone in any way that he could. He showed unconditional love for his family and friends. He was special husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and so more to all of his family members. Carlos loved animals and nature, but most of all he loved his horses. He enjoyed riding them and caring for them. He adored just being around them and they were a huge part of his life. His country boy upbringing helped shape and mold his love for the outdoors and allowed him to become the outdoorsman, which we all came to know and love. He was an avid hunter and loved hunting wild game during hunting season. Caring for his horses and being outdoors gave him such joy.
Carlos was preceded in death by his loving mother, Myrtle Boyd Allen and one brother, Warren Curtis Allen. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beautiful and devoted wife, Patrice Allen, five sons, Carlos Baines, Greg Allen, Jaelon Green, Jacoby Williams, and Patrick Phillips (Treethel); six daughters, Su’Terrica Jackson, La’Terrica Jackson, Phatasia Baines, Ja’necya Allen, and April Williams. A loving father, Willie Allen and stepmom, Dorothy Allen; one Godchild, Ta’Maya Chambers; six grandchildren, Julian, Elijah, Elyse, Vivia, and Gracelyn. A special young lady and her daughter, Tiffany and Zaniyah; a loving grandmother, Everlena Bowie Boyd, and a caring mother-in-law, Pearlie Jones; six brothers, Willie Allen, Ronald Allen (Felicia), Vincent Allen, Marcus Allen (Michele), Tony Allen and Demetrius Allen; three sisters, Bridget Goff (John), Keisha Allen, and Felicia Allen-Clark (Chris); five uncles, Levator Boyd (Juanita), Eddie Boyd, Sr. (Rosalind), Willie Earl Boyd, George Allen (Brenda) and Fren Allen (Glenda); three aunts, Lucinda Allen and Gwendolyn Allen and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
