Thaddyeus Aaron Dixon, Jr., “TJ”, age 18 months, of Alexandria, LA, went to heaven at 12:23 pm on December 29, 2016 at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA, due to injuries resulting from a vehicular incident on December 28, 2016.
TJ was a vibrant, loving, happy, spirit-filled baby boy, whom touched many lives in his short time here on Earth. TJ enjoyed singing, playing with any type of sports ball, watching football with his father, reading with his mommy, and playing with his sisters. His favorite song was “Jesus Loves Me” and he sang it with a heart full of joy. TJ’s life was dedicated to Christ at the tender age of 6 months old. He loved attending church at his family’s home church of Christian Worship Center and taking part in praise and worship. From the start of his precious life, TJ showed abundant love and compassion for all of those around him and left a lasting impact on everyone.
TJ is survived by his parents, Thaddyeus, Sr., and Alfra Dixon (Alexandria, LA), and four sisters, Carmen, Ava, Farrah, and Rayna. He is also survived by two grandfathers: Huey Dixon, Sr. (Shreveport, LA) and Spillman Brumfield (Baton Rouge, LA), two grandmothers: Mildred Moran (Alexandria, LA) and Trudie Dixon (Shreveport, LA), five aunts: Angela Moran (Alexandria, LA), Melissa Moran Lewis (William; Alexandria, LA), Dominique Moran (Alexandria, LA) and Erica Crawford (Michael; Baton Rouge, LA), 3 uncles: Huey Dixon, Jr. (Rowlett, TX), Dedrick Castle (Monique; Baton Rouge, LA), and Michael Brumfield (Baton Rouge, LA), and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
