Graveside services for Mr. Tommie J. Thompson, Sr. will take place on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 @ 11:00 am at Liberty Cemetery, 327 Butter Cemetery Road, Forest Hill, Louisiana with the Rev. Frank Jackson, officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home.
There will be an open casket viewing from 10:00 am until time of service at the gravesite. The will be no repast services due to Covid-19 concerns for family and guests.
Mr. Thompson, 71, of Alexandria, Louisiana passed away peacefully on March 22, 2021 in his residence. Tommie retired from the Alexandria Police Department in 2004 after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Henry Thompson, Will Thompson, father and Margie Thompson and Cora Nell Brown, sisters.
Mr. Thompson leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Rose Bookman Thompson; daughters, Tamika Thompson, Turicka Clark; sons, Torry Thompson, Tommie Thompson, Jr. and Tony Thompson. sisters, Frances Tolbert, Maxine Arline, Chaney Vietta Hawkins, Lea Ester Webster; grandchildren, Tayla Thompson and Tyson M. Thompson.
